Timelapse is a technique allowing to catch peculiarities which usually go unheeded.
We have been positively impressed by Sheldon Neill and Collin Delehanty’s work “Project Yosemite” describing the beauty of the American Yosemite National Park.
The above technique was also used for our video about Pollino Park.
The two photographers started an ambitious project, enhanced by the scenery of one of the most beautiful national parks in the world.
Since 1984 the Yosemite National park has been one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites and this year will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the signing of the concession which led to the official opening of the park. This was signed in 1864 by the president Abraham Lincoln.
In 2013, this protected area was damaged by a huge fire affecting 20% of its surface. However, the Project Yosemite will continue. The two photographers are already preparing a sequel of “Yosemite HD” which is certain not to disappoint.
We can’t wait to see it!
